Mass Effect: Andromeda Trailer Music Choice Was Very Deliberate

The Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer was one of my highlights from E3. They buzz in the room while it was playing at the EA press conference was palpable.

But there might be a little more than meets that eye. The use of Johnny Cash's Ghost Riders in the Sky was destinct but also, very deliberate. After an obnoxious tweet from a commenter asking for the trailer to be taken down because the music didn't fitt, Bioware's Studio Director Yannick Roy replied:

For what it's worth, here are the lyrics for the song. I don't have any concrete guesses as to what this sheds onto the game but feel free to go over them with a fine tooth comb to see what you can glean.
