Batgirl DLC On PC Is Postponed Until Game Is Reinstated

arkham-batgirl-headerEven though Batman: Arkham Knight has been taken down from Steam due to poor performance, there are still many players who are enjoying the game on the PC platform. Some have reported little issue too, not experiencing the problems that obviously plagued a large number of players

If you were one of those players, and were hoping to play the Batgirl DLC A Matter of Family on it's general release this week, I have some bad news for you. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Warner Brothers and Rocksteady have chosen not to release the DLC on the PC version just yet. A community manager on the company's forums said:

Our continued focus on getting the right PC fixes in place for the main game has had an impact on the development of all DLC content for the PC version of the game.  This means that the Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will not be available on July 14th for those who are currently playing the PC version of the game.  We apologize for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect.

In the post, they say to expect an update next week on how things are developing.

This is obviously no good for anyone, but at least the company is keeping fans updated. I just hope those with Season Passes are compensated appropriately.
