SDCC '15: Top Cow Announces Romulus, Symmetry, Blood Stain And September Mourning

This morning Top Cow had their panel at Comic-Con and made a half dozen announcements of note. The Panel was lead by company president and prolific writer Matt Hawkins and he was joined by various creators along the way.

They started off with employee bits of news. Bryan Hill has been hired on as a full-time story editor. Hill is co-writing Postal with Hawkins.

"This is a new job that we created specifically to use Bryan's talents to best facilitate making Top Cow stories better," says Matt Hawkins. "He's worked with me and I can say unequivocally I'm a better writer for it."

And Betsy Gonia has been promoted from Managing Editor to Editor. Gonia has a hand in every title that Top Cow puts out.

"Betsy is being bumped up to Editor from Managing Editor and has proven herself the most organized, capable Editor I've ever worked with," says Hawkins.

On to the comic content, it started off with the announcement of a new Kickstarter for September Mourning.

Top Cow and September Mourning will be launching a Kickstarter campaign the weekend of San Diego Comic-Con to raise funds to support the comic book for the multi-media project of the same name.

The comic book will feature the art of Marc Silvestri and Summeye Kesgin, is written by Mariah McCourt, and conceptualized by Emily Lazar (September Mourning) and Marc Silvestri.

And there will be a new title called Symmetry written by Hawkins and drawn by Raff Ienco.

Concept/Synopsis: In the future and for the greater good of the human species, all individuality, creativity and negative emotions have been genetically bred out and medically suppressed. Only one man and one woman seem to notice, care or think differently.
