CI7YWQOWIAA4QVfPeter S Svensson writes notes from Image Expo…

Joe Keatinge is introduced on stage  as the world's number one Tintin fan. Last year he announced his then-upcoming comic Shutter, inspired by his love of adventure fiction like Tintin. "Let's do that again".

Ringside, about professional wrestling. An ongoing series, launching in November. "The real violence is outside the ring."

The artists are Nick Barber, Gough and Maher and the comic is inspired by when Keatinge learning more about the real life drama that happens behind the scenes of the wrestling. The comic will feature two different pro wrestlers as viewpoint characters, at different points in their lives.

Joe's favorite wrestler was Mick Foley whose tell all book inspired him to learn more about the behind the scenes. And Nick is a new-to-comics artist who Joe found on Tumblr.
