Bleeding Cool Wants You! At Denver Comic Con

denver_comic_con_logoDenver Comic Con is coming up from May 22nd to 25th, running from "Opening Ceremonies" and Launch Night on Friday night through a full day of programming on Monday. Denver has set records as being one of the fastest growing conventions in the country, in just a few years swelling to what may be as many as 100,000 attendees this year. Some of the reason for Denver's success have been its close relationship with the community, its charitable foundations in focusing on youth education, but also because it has managed from day one to attract a wide guest list in comics, TV, and film, and run multiple tracks of interesting programming.

Bleeding Cool is going to have a strong presence at Denver Comic Con this year, and are currently building a team of reporters to help cover the array of interesting activities and events happening at the convention. If you are interested in being a reporter for Bleeding Cool at Denver Comic Con, we don't provide travel costs, hotels, or food, but we do secure press passes for our reporters which cover entry into the convention for all 4 days of the convention.

denver-comic-con2To report for Bleeding Cool you must have a tech device that uses phone signal or wifi like a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, and be willing to write short articles on news and your experiences, or take multiple photo galleries through the duration of the show to be published on the site. If you are considering going to DCC for some of the convention, but perhaps not all 4 days, up to 2 days of attendance is acceptable to be granted a press pass. If you already have a pass to Denver, but would still like to report for Bleeding Cool, please also get in touch.

So, please spread the word! We'll be building our team for the convention to celebrate pop culture and the massive events coming up. Please write to hannah@bleedingcool.com with "Denver Reporting" in the headline by midnight on Thursday, April 30th if you would like to apply.

**If you are not able to attend or report on Denver Comic Con, but are interested in being a reporter for Bleeding Cool at local events or major conventions, please also feel free to contact us at the same e-mail address. We have a big interest in regional representation and diverse views on Bleeding Cool and would like more people to be a part of that.
