As Duane Swierczynski says in the letters page of Black Hood #2,

It may be a euphemism. But this is also the first WTF in Archie Comics.
The first drugs-induced fight scene, unless you count that time Jughead had too many oddly looking mushrooms on his pizza, and decked Reggie.
The first bloody necksnap of a living person… zombies don't count).
The first drugs drought….
The first drug dealing protagonist…
The first heroin taking protagonist…
The first cold blooded killing protagonist…
And the first paraphrased quote from Douglas Adams.
I understand that orders on issue 2 was rather down on issue 1. But I get the feeling that anyone who picked up the first issue on salacious grounds, will find just as many with the second issue out today… and issue three FOC is on Monday!
