Top 5 Moments Of Once Upon A Time 4.15: 'Enter The Dragon'

once-upon-timeGreetings Once-ers! It's time for this week's re-cap of Once Upon a Time (OUAT) on ABC. With the secret of Maleficent losing her child because of Charming and Snow being revealed, Regina is asked to go undercover with the Queens of Darkness. But will it be too much temptation for Regina? Below you will find my top five moments of this weeks episode, and what I thought about them.

[***Warning: this is not a spoiler free re-cap, so if you haven't seen the episode yet, hold off on reading until then.]

1. Gaining Evil Trust: Regina's recent reputation of being on the heroes side makes things a little bit complicated when she seeks out Maleficent, Ursula, and Cruella for information. The Queens of Darkness are wise to her ways, so they put her through a series of challenges to gain trust. I don't know about you, but my heart was racing as Cruella's car sat dead center on that train track as the train grew closer and closer. It's difficult to see Regina walking down the evil path again, but I'm hoping that it's purely to help the good guys, and that she won't be heavily influenced.

2. Maleficent and Regina's Past: The flashbacks are centered around Regina's first interactions with Maleficent. Regina seeks her out looking for companionship and help because of her broken heart. Upon hearing about Aurora getting married, Regina is infuriated that another generation is gaining happiness and she isn't. She uses this as fuel to pull Maleficent out of her past, and reignite the dragon inside of her. I think it's really interesting that the two villains have a similar motivation for their reign of evil. It's even more interesting that there was a time that Maleficent considered giving up, and the role that Regina played in that. However, I will say that I really love how strong their bond is because of the journey they went through together.

3. Heroes vs. Villains: Rumple is still in hiding, but he's the man behind the master plan as always. The Queens of Darkness continue to report to him and reveal that they aren't buying Regina's evil act. However, this doesn't trouble Rumple at all. He knows that Regina will eventually have to choose a side. He proclaims in his chilling fashion that a war is beginning, and "…and villains, we're going to throw the first punch." We've been here a few times, but in a different fashion. The people of Storybrooke have come up against evil before, but usually just one villain at a time. I'm curious how things will end up with multiple villains involved.

4. Moving the Dagger: I just want to say how much I love the friendship that's growing between Belle and Hook. I literally laughed out loud when he interrupted her date with Will. Wanting to protect Belle from Rumple's evil ways, Hook suggests they move the dagger. However, I was NOT expecting it being Rumple all along. Way to go OUAT writers. You really surprised me. Now it looks like we will be dealing with the struggle to figure out if Hook is really Hook in future episodes…

5. The Real Boy: One of Regina's tests in the episode is to kidnap Pinnochio. It was literally painful to watch her do it. The end of the episode ends on an incredible cliffhanger sure to please OUAT fans! As Cruella carries a tiny Pinnochio into the room, Rumple reveals to Regina, and the Queens of Darkness that the young boy doesn't have the information they need. No amount of torture would bring out memories he doesn't have…but bringing back August would! Yep! August is back!

Overall, this was a really powerful episode chock full of surprising moments. I greatly enjoyed it being mostly centered around Regina because of how amusing she is to watch.
