Detroit Gang Wars And Santa Suits – Preview Sundowners #8 From Dark Horse

Sundowners, the Tim Seeley and Jim Terry comic with lush covers by Juan Ferreyra, is coming up on its 8th issue exploring the psychological function and dysfunction of thinking you're a superhero. The book poses one of the most interesting questions in superhero comics lately–observing the potential psychosis of a hero complex in very realistic everyday terms, and also it's just crazy and a little disturbing. Issue #8 is landing on March 25th in digital format before a larger print collection later in 2015.

STK665423Dark Horse describe Issue #8 thus:

Tensions flare as the Sundowners find themselves in the midst of a Detroit gang war! Now trapped between drug dealers, a twisted creep in a Santa Claus suit, and a wishing well to hell, they're forced to rely on the leadership of the man who believes in them the least-Dr. David Shrejic!

And here's our preview of this issue:
