Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Called Kick Girl

Val Hochberg writes for Bleeding Cool:

kg1That's the trouble with evil ancient prophecies, isn't it? There's always some evil cult that's trying to cause said evil prophecies to come true. If that's the case, you better hope you've got a big strong hero to step in and make things right.

Unfortunately, all we've got is the small, bad-tempered, and hardly heroic "Kick Girl."

kg2Kick Girl (also known to many evil cultists as "Mystery Babylon") is the one and only demon who managed to escape being sealed away in "The Pit" during the Apocalypse.  As a demon, you would think she would be pretty gung ho about releasing her fellow demons to begin "The Apocalypse: Part 2." But she made a promise to her dying superhero lover to never break the seal, and she has kept that promise for a thousand years. Until now…

kg3Mystery Babylon has been a webcomic series updated every Monday since 2010. It's a life-long passion project that is near and dear to my heart. Nothing makes me happier than seeing others get emotionally involved with something that I take so much joy in creating. I recently launched my very first Kickstarter to help publish Mystery Babylon Chapter 3 as a graphic novel. Although there are many loyal followers of the webcomic, I was in no way expecting it to be fully funded in less than a day. Shocked, awed, and eternally grateful, the best way to thank everyone is to give out as many cool bonus rewards as possible! You can currently pledge to receive all three graphic novels so far or just Chapter 3.

As the ultimate dream stretch goal, if we can hit the $8,000 mark, I will print out Mystery Babylon Chapter 4 and offer it as an add-on! Two new graphic novels instead of one!

kg4I want to welcome my fellow Bleeding Cool readers to please check it out! As a special Bleeding Cool challenge, if we can hit the $8,000 mark before the end of Monday, March 2nd, then I will give out an additional exclusive mini-print to all backers at the "Crusader" reward tier or higher.

If you want to help support this awesomely-Apocalyptic and expressively-energetic fantasy graphic novel series, then please donate to the Mystery Babylon Kickstarter campaign today to claim your books and rewards before it ends!
