Forza 6 Confirmed For Holiday Release This Year
So it turns out Forza 6 is indeed set for the end of this year. This shouldn't surprise anyone as the Forza cycle rotates between Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon each year.
The release window was always expected, but it was only officially confirmed on the latest Inner Circle podcast episode. Xbox Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg confirmed that the game was set to launch holiday 2015.
Forza Horizon 2 launched on September 30th in 2014. I think that would be a logical place to slot the upcoming game, giving it a chance to breathe against other console exclusives like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Halo 5: Guardians. Time will no doubt give us a more procise date. I'd guess that will come at E3.
