Carl "Crusher" Creel Teased In Daredevil Image

Marvel has proven to be very serious about the continuity of their films and television shows… so when the following picture was tweeted yesterday… some obvious questions came up.

The fight poster has Matt Murdock's father Jack taking on Carl "Crusher" Creel in an upcoming fight. Creel is of course the Absorbing Man from the comics. He's also a character we've met in the Marvel Cinematic Universe already in an episode of Agents of SHIELD… is the the fight poster talking about the same guy? The Creel we met on SHIELD doesn't seem old enough to have fought Battling Jack back when Matt Murdock was a kid. Unless turning yourself into cement and wood keeps your skin naturally young looking. I wonder how they're going to work that one out.

Daredevil debuts on Netflix April 10th.
