Amazon Pulls The Plug On Chris Carter's The After
Amazon has announced that they will not be moving forward on the new series The After from X-Files creator Chris Carter. Written and Directed by Carter, The After followed a group of people the moment after the apocalypse. His plan was to go 99 episodes as he was using Dante's Inferno as a guide and it had 99 cantos in its story.
The series was to star Louise Monot, Sharon Lawrence, Aldis Hodge, Adrian Pasdar, Arielle Kebbel, Jamie Kennedy, Andrew Howard, Jaina Lee Ortiz and Sam Littlefield.
The series had been picked up nine months ago with an eight episode commitment. Only the pilot has been filmed.
