Blackjack: Second Bite Of The Cobra was a comic mini-series published by Dark Angel Publishing in 1996 by Alex Simmons and  Joe Bennett, followed by a second series, Blood & Honor that explored the lead's origin.

Never collected, it is not being published together by Dover Publications, alongside their other projects reprinting out-of-print comics such as The Bozz Chronicles, A Sailor's Story and Mercy, calling it

a tale of blood and vengeance, which stars Arron Day, alias Blackjack, an African-American soldier of fortune seeking revenge on a charismatic Bedouin warlord known as The Cobra.  This current collection will feature a new foreword by Joe Illidge, a new afterword by Tom Sniegoski, and a new cover by Scott Hanna.

And, looking at other aforementioned other reprint projects, here's the work-in-progress new Bret Blevins' cover for the upcomingVla Bozz Chronicles collection.
