The Hasbro/IDW partnership has been a fruitful one with the blockbuster success of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the ongoing saga of the Transformers. The panel was all IDW consisting of John Barber (w), Amy Mebberson (a), Katie Cook (w+a), Mairghread Scott (w), Sarah Stone (a), and Jim Zub (w). We quickly headed into the slide show presentation:

Transformers Robots In Disguise will rebrand itself The Transformers to not be confused with the upcoming cartoon. John Barber continues as the writer and upcoming story lines include a flashback to Galvatron as a barbarian and a Days of Deception crossover where Prowl will confront Spike Witwicky about his past transgressions.

If you've been reading More Than Meets the Eye, you know John Robert has provided the franchise with some of the most sophisticated and entertaining stories in it's 30 years of history. Unfortunately Roberts could not be there, so little was said in his absence other than the title delving into Megatron's most early days and aforementioned Days of Deception crossover.

Transformers Primacy will end the trilogy about the great war of Cybertron with veteran transformers writer, Flint Dille.

There will be a second Drift miniseries from the creative team from the first entitled Empire of Stone.

Combiner Wars will be brought to you by the Windblade creative crew (Mairghread Scott and Sarah Stone) and will delve into the logistics of how combining transformers think and interact.

Angry Birds/Transformers garnered more that a few chuckles from the crowd. Barber suggested it will be the the Lego Movie of Transformers.

TF/GI Joe marches on to the offbeat drum of Tom Scioli who was absent from the panel. Future artwork hinted strongly at Optimus Prime's first appearance in this series.

Fall of GI Joe will continue, followed by GI Joe – Real American Hero.

Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra will debut January 2015 by Mike Costa (w) and Paolo Villanelli (a). Costa joined the panel from the back of the room and promised a big action movie which would build on his previous work. Covers will be by Drew Johnson.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons, IDW will debut Dungeons and Dragons: Baldurs Gate by Jim Zub (w) and Max Dunbar (a). Zub was quick to mention the series will be reader friendly and big on action. The first issue goes on sale next week.

A Littlest Pet Shop $10 hardcover was very briefly mentioned.

We then moved on to the ponies to many hollers and applause. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will feature a two part western entitled "The Good, the Bad, and the Pony" by Katie Cook Andy Price. Applejack will take center stage as they confront evil cattle rustlers… who are cows themselves. Friends Forever #10 will feature Fluttershy and Iron will, #11 will focus on Rainbow Dash and Spitfire (by Ted Anderson (w) and Jay Fosgitt (a) and #12 will involve Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle in a story named 'NOM'.

Finally Jem and the Holograms was formally announced but no other info could be provided…
