Stan Lee's Chakra The Invincible To Be Bollywood Film

chakraWith much of Hollywood's superhero success coming from characters Stan Lee had a hand in creating, it only makes sense that Bollywood tries to follow suit.

Back in 2011, Lee's POW! Entertainment and Graphic India, released Chakra the Invinicble – a comic about an Indian teenager, Raju Rai, who is a technology genius living in Mumbai. Determined to use science to unlock the secrets of human potential, Raju develops a technically-enhanced suit that activates the mystical Chakras of the body, unleashing super human powers.

The film is being developed with a grown-up version of the Chakra character tackling his arch-enemy, Boss Yama. Lee and his producing partners, Gill Champion along with Graphic India CEO Sharad Devarajan have been meeting with leading Bollywood directors, producers and writers to adapt Chakra as a live action film.

Last year, Chakra The Invincible was launched on Cartoon Network India as a kids animated series.
