Y The Last Man Rights Revert Back To The Creators

y-the-last-manBrian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra's hit Vertigo series Y the Last Man is no longer set up with New Line. The director of the project, Dan Trachtenberg, told THR that the rights reverted back to the creators some months ago.

The film went through years of development, multiple scripts and two directors before. The idea was to focus on the first 10 issues of the 60 issue run, setting things up for sequels.

The right reverting back was not unexpected as Vaughn himself said back in January that he figured it would happen if the production had not started in a few months.
