Loki, God Of Graffiti?

So I was just looking on BBC News, seeking inspiration for tomorrow's Guido Fawkes cartoon, when this popped up.

A BBC article about graffiti in churches dating from Medieval times. Possibly pagan, possibly with fertility symbols. But the first image they used? This one.
