Joe Kubert's Enemy Ace To Get IDW's Artist Edition Treatment

Making their own spin on the war comic books of the 1950s and 1960s, Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert turn an unlikely hero into a genre icon with Enemy Ace. Now IDW is collecting five tales of ace German pilot Hans von Hammer and making Joe Kubert Enemy Ace: Artist's Edition.

Joe Kubert: Enemy Ace Artist's Edition will present five issues from the DC Comics series Star Spangled War Stories, issues #139-142 and #144. The 150 pages will be scanned from the original art and include bonus material like covers and promos and printed at 12" x 17".

This collection joins the previous Artist's Edition by Kubert, Joe Kubert's Tarzan of the Apes and Joe Kubert's Tor. This new edition will fly onto retailers shelves in November.
