Flash Featurette Focuses On Possible Reverse Flash

We've seen from two seasons of Arrow that just because a character on the show shares a name with a character in the comics that we are going to necessarily end up with the same character. So with The Flash following in Arrow's footsteps, there is no guarantee that Rick Cosnett's character of Detective Eddie Thawne is anything more than what he seems… but comic fans know that Thawne has also gone by the villain monikers of Professor Zoom and Reverse Flash.

But with the swirling yellow lightning racing around Barry's mom in the trailer and how important that particular villain is to the Flash universe it would be hard to imagine him not being used… unless he's there as bait and switch.

So who is Eddie Thawne in the new series, this featurette introduces him. If Cosnett looks familiar to you, you might have seen him on the Vampire Diaries or the New Inventors.
