Rocket Raccoon #1 Tops Advance Reorder Charts. But Big Trouble In Little China Seem To Have Hit As Well.
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
And in at the top is Rocket Raccoon, now confirmed at getting advance orders of over 300,000. So for the first time in quite a while, the number one comic in the direct market will be of the funny animal genre. Skottie Young, spend those royalties incentive payments well. Strong performances for a lot of Marvel launches, especially those associated with Guardians Of The Galaxy.
But there's also worthy performance for Big Trouble In Little China #2 indicating that issue #1 did very well indeed.
