Monday night is here and it's time for The SML Podcast Episode 65: The John Drake Amplicast here on Bleeding Cool!

This week on the show we are joined by the one and only John Drake of Harmonix. Oh. And Save/Continue Editor Kyle Gaddo.

In a nice hour-long interview we talk to John Drake about the brand new Kickstarter for the new Amplitude game planned for PS3 and PS4. We discuss the process of the game, why they turned to Kickstarter despite people thinking they are rolling in that fat Rock Band cash, and we share our favorite P.O.D. memories.

We finish up our time with John by talking about what he's currently playing before he needs to depart to do an actual important podcast. Then Kyle needs to leave to see some bands. Then Kris and I talk about DRIVECLUB, Elder Scrolls Online, and what WE'VE been playing!

Check out the mp3 of the show here or check out the YouTube version!

Music this week is a selection of tracks chosen by John Drake himself including the title theme to the new iOS release Record Run and a three pack of The Main Drag , of which John is the drummer! And MAYBE a little something extra at the end…

The Main Drag – Don't Let Me Down (Slowly)

Izzy Maxwell – Record Run Title Theme

The Main Drag – A Jagged Gorgeous Winter

The Main Drag – Tell Me Whatchu Say
