Paul Pope's Escapo Book Launch Donates To The CBLDF, Boogies With The Jim Jones Review

On Saturday, April 19th, the multi-Eisner Award winner Paul Pope will be rocking the launch of his graphic novel from Z2 Comics, Escapo, by DJing alongside a performance of the UK grown band The Jim Jones Review, who are currently on tour with their new single "Collision Boogie". The event will be held in New York City at Webster Hall's Marlin Room on 125 East 11th Street with doors opening at 7PM. Tickets are available here.

As well as being able to get ahold of the large hardback remastering (with 50 pages of new material) of Escapo, Pope's work of the same title from 1999, there will be "memorabilia" related to the event on sale for the lucky attendees, but a portion of the proceeds from these sales will go directly to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
