Nathan Fillion Teases The Possibility Of A Guardians Of The Galaxy Cameo‏

Not too long ago, some additional shooting took place on Guardians of the Galaxy. Why? A quote from James Gunn was doing the rounds, and let’s assume that it’s accurate.

Anything you want you didnt get? Go for it. Something to make the movie better? Do it. Cool cameo idea? Bring ’em in.

Well, if there is a newly added cameo, Nathan Fillion seems to want the fans to think it’s him making it. Hypable ran this video from the St. Louis Comic Con. The Guardians chat comes at 38:30 or so, but you can read the salient bit below.

Wanting to get a part… or maybe did, I’m just saying maybe. Maybe you’ll be surprised. Maybe. Check the credits.

In the Marvel Movieverse “check the credits” doesn’t just mean read the list of names but also watch out for additional scenes. Is the implication that Fillion will be joining Marvel’s films and popping up for a beat in the tail end of Guardians? That might suggest he’d be in Avengers: Age of Ultron and… well, that all makes too much sense.

Or he could just be pulling our legs.
