Terminator: Genesis Looking To Cast Detectives, Young Version Of JK Simmons, And More

What do these casting calls for Terminator: Genesis tell us about the Alan Taylor reboot? Well, perhaps that events and/or timelines in the first two Terminator films may be revisited. And also that J.K. Simmons' character will be seen in either flashbacks or some alternate timeline, and there are lots and lots of figures of law enforcement involved.

Well, it is a world run amok with killer machines who sometimes pose as cops, so that makes sense. I'm going to assume they're going to be pretty unhelpful and do more to get in the way of our heroes (Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese and Jason Clarke as John Connor) than anything else.
