ComiXology Still In Trouble… So Be Patient

Last year during SXSW, ComiXology came unstuck when a few hundred thousand people tried to download 700 free Marvel comics all at once and the system crashed.

This year they went for something more manageable. All was looking good. Until… today. When they'd discovered they'd been hacked and sent out emails to get people to change their password. They told affected businesses first before emailing customers before the US working day began on the East Coast. But as the story spread and more and more became away, it seems that the system couldn't cope with so many people trying to change their passwords all at once. And managing the amount of requests to change passwords coming in appears to have overloaded the system somewhat.

Here are some of the responses so far.
