Late Night Swipe File: Sex Criminals And Distance Between The Two

Sex Criminals is the smash hit sex comedy from Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky, published by Image Comics. In which a couple meet, who both have the power to stop time after they've orgasmed, which gives them the opportunity to change the world for the better. By stealing stuff. It's very popular, and gives the characters lots of opportunity to have sex all over the place. Makes a change from rushing into a phone booth to take off your clothes and… no, it's basically the same thing.

Well this is the hentai Distance Between The Two by Japanese writer/artist Hanaharu Naruko. In which two teenagers pray to the gods for time to stop when they are together. Which it does.

Which gives them the opportunity to have sex all over the place. Which they do.

Although there are consequences. All sorts of consequences.

Both stories go off in very different directions, and while sex is a focus for both comics, they have a narrative aim external to that… but in both there's lots of sperm going everywhere…

I wonder if it could have had an influence?
