More previously rumored shooting locations have been officially confirmed by Marvel. The Avengers: Age of Ultron will shoot a portion of its scenes in South Korea.

In the press release touting the partnership with Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it is also confirmed that the Aosta Valley in Italy will also be a filming location. As we previously reported, the historical stronghold Bard is likely to be the main backdrop of the scenes that will be filmed there.

Meanwhile, the release is vague on what will transpire in Korea, saying only that Joss Whedon and co. "will film key elements of the movie in the capital city of Seoul." Previous reports indicated:

about 10 to 15 minutes of the 'Avengers 2′ movie will feature Korea with filming to take place in Gangnam and Gyeonggi-do.

The Hulk has already been spotted in South Africa, and with more international filming locations expected to be announced, Age of Ultron really is looking much more global than its predecessor.
