Jake Gyllenhall Confronts An Enemy In New Trailer For Denis Villeneuve Thriller
It's hard to make out exactly what's happening in this new trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners followup, but that film should give a pretty clear idea of the tone and pacig.
The director has re-teamed with Jake Gyllenhaal for Enemy, who pulls double duty here as a man growing increasingly paranoid that he's got a doppelganger running around, doing god knows what, and as he digs deeper, things naturally get completely out of control. Sarah Gadon and Melanie Laurent play the two women in each man's life and Isabella Rossellini as his (their?) mother, insisting she only ever had one son.
Creepy. Tense. Intriguing. Can't wait to see this one. Releases on VOD on February 6th, then theatrically in the US on March 14th.
