Day Men #2's Lights Up eBay

Bleeding Cool has been following Boom! Studios' original series Day Men with art by Brian Stelfreeze since before it launched. We broke the news that the first issue had sold its 12,000 copy print run. That it was heating up the aftermarket and there was a rumor of a movie option from San Diego. That it was optioned and broke down why it was.

We also predicted that because of the long delay between issue #1 and #2, retailers were going to under-ordered issue #2 and that it might follow a similar back market pattern. And that issue 2 had sold out of its 10,200 copy print run.

You might realise we quite like Day Men and predict big things.

Well, issue #2 has sold copies on eBay for $15.

We've been told that issue #3 is (finally) not far behind. Of course, the initial orders are even lower than issue #2…which may fuel even greater aftermarket interest…
