Louis C. K. Finally Tells The Ending Of The Ice Fishing Story From American Hustle, UPDATE: International Video

Throughout David O. Russell's American Hustle, Louis C. K.'s character, Bradley Cooper's boss at the FBI, kept trying to tell him a morality tale in the form of an ice fishing trip he took with his dad and brother when he was younger. It became a running joke that he never got to the end of it and whatever Cooper's character guessed was the end, was always incorrect.

Well, now we finally know the real ending, as Louis stopped by The Tonight Show and told it to Jay Leno live on the air. And, uh, it's really not anything anyone could have predicted, so we'll have to excuse Cooper's character from getting it wrong so many times.
