"Those Taiwanese Animators" Have Made A Trailer For Jurassic World

During the coverage of Tiger Woods’ infidelities, the West became hooked on the news and current affairs cartoons of Next Media Animation. An offshoot of Hong Kong and Taiwanese tabloid media conglomerate Next Media, they seem to exist only to baffle and beguile with their stripped down, apparently deliberately shonky short toons.

In the intervening years, they’ve maintained a pretty healthy YouTube channel. It was here that, apropos of nothing, their highly speculative and distinctly ridiculous trailer for Jurassic World appeared.

I guess they’ve just been looking at lists of upcoming movies for inspiration, perhaps wondering what titles people will pump into the YouTube search box. Here’s a few more of their pieces on future films.
