A Tribute To Buffy The Vampire Slayer With Neil Gaiman, Rhianna Pratchett, Anthony Head And Joss Whedon

buffy finale

Borrowing an aphorism normally applied to Star Trek movies, I’ve often spoke out about my love of the BBC’s even numbered radio stations.*

This morning, Radio 2 offered a couple of hours of Dame Edna Everage, and I loved that; then, this evening, a half hour tribute to Buffy the Vampire Slayer was broadcast on Radio 4. Why now? Because it’s ten years since the show reached its big finish on UK television.

You can listen to it now – internationally, I believe – via the iPlayer. I’ve not heard it yet myself but I’ll plug it into my ears at bedtime. They can’t have gone far wrong with contributions from Neil Gaiman, Rhianna Pratchett, Anthony Head and Joss Whedon, though, surely?

Let’s listen together, why not?

*Radio 3 is apparently good too, I understand. So take that, Trekkers.
