New Trailer For Hercules: The Legend Begins

No, this isn't the one with Dwayne Johnson, directed by Brett Ratner. This is the one directed by Renny Harlin and starring Twilight's Kellan Lutz.

In other words, this is the one no one is betting on to win the Dance of the Dueling Hercules Pictures next year. Then again, you never know. This one has the advantage of going first, on January 10th, while Ratner's pic bows in summer blockbuster season on July 25th.

Judging by this footage, it certainly wants to be in the vein of Zack Snyder's 300 or even Tarsem Singh's Immortals, but doesn't seem to quite commit to it completely. And its' from Lionsgate starring a Twilight guy, so they try to cram some romance in there too. All told, based on this, I would put my money on Ratner-Johnson, or maybe just neither.
