Mark Buckingham, On Display, At Orbital Comics

FABLES_134_i6uvu9en0n_At Orbital Comics on Thursday, October 24, the Fables art team of Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha, will be signing and sketching in the store, starting at 4pm. This will kick off the opening of the Mark Buckingham art exhibition at the store, which will run until November the 24th.

The exhibition is separated into several sections with art drawn from through out the comics decade long history. Some on loan from Mark Buckingham's personal collection, some from private collections, the work highlights some of his recent watercolor painted covers including his painting of Boy Blue and Bigby from this months new issue, along with some of his most dramatic double page spreads from Sons and Empire and The Good Prince.

Art will also be for sale, with pages from  Cubs in Toyland and Snow White and early issues of the series, as well as double page spreads from Fables #75, as the citizens of Fabletown go to war with the Empire and pages from The Unwritten Fables crossover.
