Latest Frozen Promo Focuses On The Summer-Obsessed Snowman, Olaf

The first teaser for Frozen centred on Olaf the snowman, a supporting character. A lot of internet voices were somewhat dismayed about this, crying out for a trailer with the human leads.

Last week, that trailer arrived. And there was still whining about the snowman.

All I can really say, at this point, is that yes, he’s clearly got a comic relief function and, yes, he can be pretty close to some dope-that-just-won’t-get-it stereotypes, but in the big chunk of Frozen that I’ve seen, Olaf is both funny and interesting.

I don’t know if this new Snowman-centric “character pod” is going to change anybody’s mind.

Frozen is released on 27th November in the US and 7th December in the UK. I hope I get to see the rest of it soon.
