Pitch Video For The Jurassic World Spin-Off Video Game That Never Happened

A hour or so ago I saw a number of sites begin to publish stories claiming that there was a pitch trailer for Jurassic World online and available to watch right now.

The start of all this appeared to be a story from ShockTillYouDrop, who had posted the video declaring it to be a pitch trailer for the upcoming Colin Trevorrow film.

The video was a recording someone had made at Star Wars Celebration in Europe a couple of months ago. A few things sounded a bit off about that though.

‘Why would a pitch trailer have been shown for Jurassic World in front of the public months before the title was even announced?’ was my main query. Also, I was at Star Wars Celebration and spoke to a number of people there about what they saw. Some were at that panel. None mentioned a pitch trailer for a Jurassic Park film.

A little more digging and it became obvious that the trailer was something to do with a video game that Doug Chiang and/or Iain McCaig were involved in – the video was shown during their panel.

This was then confirmed by Pablo Hidalgo, who works at Lucasfilm,

Below you can watch the teaser for the video game. It’s kind of amusing but I’m glad it’s not related to the film, it plays things very broad.
