Trailer For The Robocop Reboot

The footage shown at Comic-Con did a better job of placing the new Robocop into a clear thematic structure, but it did have Samuel L Jackson delivering a monologue to camera in order to achieve this, not to mention a full news report sequence.

This trailer will do for now, though. Lula Carvalho’s cinematography looks great and it does seem like the same mix of serious intentions and genre movie action.

I’m surprised by how much of the “old school” suit we saw in that trailer. Ah well – the more models they impress upon the viewers, the more models they can hang from the racks in the toy store, I suppose.
