First Trailer For Diablo Cody’s Paradise, Which Premieres On TV This Week

Curiously, the directorial debut of Diablo Cody is headed right to TV. You’ll be able to catch Paradise on Thursday night, according to Cody herself.

Probably more a symptom of a changing industry than confirmation of the bad smells created by the film’s evil poster, right?

Well, I hope so. And this trailer isn’t anything like awful at all. And the script was good – far better than this promo lets on. And Cody is smart. And there is a theatrical release coming in October.

Now, I don’t want to give away too much, but I’m not sure I agree with everything this film says. But that’s not the point. From reading the script, I certainly enjoyed the way it said it.
