We Have Our First Marvel Movieverse Cameo In Agents Of SHIELD

The pilot episode of Agents of SHIELD is screening now at San Diego Comic-Con and our Patrick Dane is in there, enjoying it. Loving it. Lucky bugger.

For months now, we’ve been trying to work out who J. August Richards is playing in the show. As soon as we know, I’ll update you. It’s not Luke Cage, but all other bets are off.

For now, though, here’s the first big surprise: Maria Hill is in the show. It’s only a cameo, but there she is. Agent Coulson isn’t the only connection between Agents of SHIELD and the Marvel Movieverse.

Oh… and about Coulson’s death. He did die… for real…

…for eight seconds. At least, that’s how the show is playing it so far.
