We Finally Know Who J. August Richards’ Mystery Character In Agents Of SHIELD Is

The pilot episode of Agents of SHIELD has premiered at San Diego Comic Con to a very, very enthusiastic crowd. One of those dots of enthusiasm in a whole sea’s worth was Patrick Dane, one of our guys.

And according to Patrick, J. August Richard’s mystery character is none other than Mike Peterson.

Yeah, Mike Peterson.

Powers/Abilities: Mike has no superhuman powers, but he seems to be a pretty bright guy and is a skilled artist.

History: (Slapstick#1)- Mike tried to hang out with Steve, but Steve was in a hurry. Later, Mike was among the victims of the Clowns from Dimension X’s kidnapping plot at the carnival. Along with the rest, Steve was saved by Slapstick. Recognizing Slapstick as his best friend, he realized that he’d just had an origin and helped him think of a superhero name.
