David S. Goyer To Direct An Episode Of Walking Dead For Season Four

wdz99The Walking Dead TV Comic Con panel hasn’t even started yet – we’ve got to get past Riddick first – but already the news is arriving. Over the way at a panel celebrating ten years of the comic, it was announced that David S. Goyer, co-writer of Nolan’s Batmovies and Man of Steel, will be directing a season four episode of the Walking Dead show. Will he also write it? Not clear, but the implication would seem to be no, at least not so far.

Goyer’s track record as a director is maybe less impressive than his writing resume, taking in Blade: Trinity, The Unborn and The Invisible. Still, The Walking Dead has a pretty well-practised crew. I doubt we’ll even feel a bump in service.
