Trailer: The New Scooby Doo Is A Puppet Show With Muppet Talent

Set to attend a screening of Scooby Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map at Comic-Con this year is Peter Linz, personal assistant to Walter the Muppet. It would seem he’s had a hand in Scoob’s new show too.

Here’s the first trailer for Mystery Map, which sadly has no dialogue. Also on the Con panel listing is Matthew Lillard, though, so I think we can at least guess who will be voicing Shaggy.

Well, looks like the sort of thing that’s tailor made for one of my Sunday afternoon pre-nap entertainments, but if it’s going to cross over, this is going to need a smart script.

Mystery Incorporated was an absolute cracker and regularly very witty indeed, but that had the luxury of an older target audience. Mystery Map will have to pull off some Pixar-style magic to stitch some adult-friendly material into this, more nipper-suitable stuff.
