First Trailer: The Count Arthur Strong Sitcom By Steve Delaney And Graham Linehan

Count Arthur Strong is a sometime variety star and world-class manufacturer of malapropisms. I first saw him on stage, have enjoyed him on Radio 4 for what seems like a golden age now, and have been keenly anticipating his new TV sitcom.

This was co-written by Father Ted and The IT Crowd‘s Graham Linehan and Steve Delaney, the Count’s creator and alter ego. This promises both an expert hand on sitcom structure and eat-breathe-sleep awareness of Arthur Strong that will keep the character rich and deep and fleshed out.
