Trailer: Ridley Scott Brings His Classic Style To The Counselor – Now In English

Dariusz Wolski may not have understood stereography but he sure did light Prometheus well. Even more polished, however, are his images for Ridley Scott‘s next, The Counselor.

Check out the pure-80s vibe of this teaser. It’s sheer coke-and-mullet cinematography, but brilliantly executed.

I like that even more now I know what they’re saying.

The Counselor is based upon Cormac McCarthy‘s first original screenplay which is full of pitch black, cruel stuff, and is the best foundation Ridley Scott has started from in many, many films.
