The 3D Version Of Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones Will Screen At Celebration Europe

attack of the clonesThough Lucasfilm have decided not to give the 3D versions of Star Wars episodes II and III wide releases – at least for now – it’s been officially announced that II, Attack of the Clones, is to play at Celebration Europe next month.

According to the press release:

Everyone who attends one of the special Attack of the Clones 3D screenings, currently scheduled for each day of the show, will receive a pair of souvenir 3D glasses. RealD, sponsor of the Digital Stage, has created these glasses exclusively for the 3D screenings at Celebration Europe.

How very eBayable.

Celebrations is happening in Messe Essen in Germany from Jul

Tickets for the Con are on sale now, with VIP tickets on sale only until June 20th. As I understand it, Warwick Davies will be hosting lots of panels, and there’s going to be an event with Kathleen Kennedy. I’ll be speaking to some of the people involved over the next few days, and I’ll tell you what I learn.

I’m expecting some exciting Star Wars bits to come out of this big event, maybe even the next real, solid Episode VII news.
