Major Comic Pirate Site, Hank Scorpio, Closes Down

indexHank Scorpio was one of the major comic book piracy sites in the industry. It didn't host any files, but it linked to a series of download sites such as Hotfile,  SendSpace and the like.

Named after the Simpsons character, hat set it apart from others of its ilk was that Hank Scorpio was incredibly user friendly and provided a simple but visually appealing user interface. The week's comics were displayed in with large cover images in a grid, resembling a comic book stand. The user then clicked on each cover and was presented with a series of download links, from which they could choose.

But last week, the owner closed it down, saying;
