New Trailers For The Motion Capture Tarzan Movie – One In 2D, One In 3D

Constantin Film are producing a performance capture driven take on Tarzan. Judging from these latest trailers, it’s not as ugly as one might have feared.

The first of these is a common or garden 2D teaser, and the other will play in stereo if your 3D TV or monitor has a side-by-side mode, as most do. I’ll certainly give this a spin on my TV when I get home later.

I know I’m supposed to hate this thing on sight, but I don’t. Even if it flops outright on all other fronts, the virtual camerawork seems to open up some of the vine-swinging, high-leaping fun that previous Tarzan movies have struggled with. Some of the shots in this thing could make me feel dizzy – in a good way.
