Full Trailer For Gravity – Alfonso Cuaron’s Extremely Ambitious New Sci-Fi Film

Amongst the most discussed elements of Children of Men were the long tracking shots. It’s already proving to be pretty much the same story with Alfonso Cuaron‘s next feature too. Months ahead of Gravity being released, I’ve read countless pieces referencing its extended opening shot which, though it would have been filmed in pieces and stitched together in post, will appear to run unbroken for seventeen minutes.

You won’t get even a hint of how that will play from this trailer. You might, however, find your jaw on the floor and dribble all down your top.

I don’t think the elaborate, unbroken shots are the only things interesting here. Not by a long chalk.

Gravity opens in the US on October 4th and in the UK two weeks later on October 18th.
