We’re yet to see any of Uziel’s features go into production but he’s already got a series of action comedies set up around Hollywood. Perhaps the most notable of these is The Kitchen Sink, a mash up of zombie, vampire and alien invasion hijinks. This is the script that made his name, and if all goes to plan, we might actually see it in cinemas for Hallowe’en 2014.
He’s also the man behind the Mortal Kombat reboot, having penned both the pending feature and the recent short film, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. You can watch that at the foot of this post.
I understand that Uziel got the Men In Black go ahead after pitching a very specific take to Sony. I have no idea of the specifics, however, and neither it seems do The Hollywood Reporter. What’s more, they don’t even seem sure on how much Will Smith will be involved. I had been assuming it would centre around him once again… I’m still pretty sure it will.
