Viral Website Reveals New Elysium Images And Some Kind Of Screening Event

Last year’s Comic Con presentation for Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium was the most impressive thing I saw in all of San Diego. It looks like a real step forward from District 9, in terms of both aesthetics and narrative ambitions, and I hope it is.

A new viral website for the film, Welcome to Elysium, has launched. As well as a number of new images – some of which I assembled below – there appears to be a screening scheme of some kind. I imagine that the studio is looking to preview some footage, perhaps leading into an unveiling for the film’s first trailer. It would certainly be time.

Thanks to Movie Viral for the heads up.

Now, here are the images – including some more from the parallel Armadyne viral site. For more on Elysium, read our previous stories.
